The Borders Chamber Orchestra is back to bring us “Re-discovered hidden gems” – music that was lost to the world after composition/first performance and then re-discovered in the 20th century.
Featuring music by Bizet, Haydn and Fanny Mendelssohn-Hensel, the concert is conducted by local boy Derrick Morgan, assistant conductor of the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, and sees the return of Alexandria MacKenzie as cello soloist.
